“As above, so below” is the driving influence of the narrative. A confined space the subway holds the stories and dreams of commuters.
Bright white light illuminates the carriage reflecting off the burnished gold tones of the interior. The periphery of the glass fitting is an emerald gradient decreasing toward the center of the fixture to bring a sense of cool and calm to the atmosphere. The modern directional lines satisfy the practical need for light sources leading to exits.
Skylights at street level allow light o stream through to the platform to sustain air-purifying plans and bring natural light to the subway system.
